Background: Miles Frazier was a 3-star offensive tackle recruit out of Camden, New Jersey in the class of 2020. Frazier played his high school football for Milford Academy Prep School. After high school, Frazier committed to play for Florida International over Buffalo, Coastal Carolina, and others.

College: In his true freshman season in 2020, Frazier appeared in 4 games in jumbo sets, while starting one game. In 2021, Frazier became a starter. He started in 10 games for FIU and earned Freshman All-American honors. Frazier parlayed that elite season into a transfer to LSU. In his first season at LSU in 2022, Frazier played all over the line. He saw starts at both guard spots and right tackle. Frazier settled into the right guard position for the Tigers in 2023. He started every game at the position and was a key piece in Jayden Daniels’ Heisman season. In 2024, Frazier started every game at right guard before playing right tackle in the bowl game

Strengths: Miles Frazier is a thickly built interior offensive lineman. He has a dense build and powerful lower half that allows him to set a strong anchor. Even the strongest power rushers have trouble knocking Frazier off his foundation. Frazier has a punch that knocks back rushers on initial contact. His punch is accurate and forceful to keep defenders at bay at the point of attack. Frazier processes stunts at the line well. He helps teammates with assignments while also knowing when to hand assignments off. Frazier moves decently in the run game and generates powerful leg drive to physically dominate defenders in open space. Frazier does well to find work and reach his landmarks at the second level. In pass protection, Frazier’s hands work independently to knock back rushers while also not allowing anything to squeeze through the gaps. He has quick feet around the pocket that anchor well when absorbing contact.

Weaknesses: Frazier’s lack of hand size is rather alarming. Unfortunately, it shows up on tape. He has trouble sustaining blocks and getting his grip on rushers with any consistency. Miles has a large frame, which can be a positive, but he plays with too high of a pad level for it to be only a positive. He allows defenders to get under his pads far too often. Due to his lack of elite length, if the bigger or lankier rushers win the battle of leverage in the phone booth, it could be game over for Frazier. It would benefit Frazier to keep his shoulder square in pass protection more often. He does well to protect the gaps, but when he is beaten, his shoulders turn into a turnstile.

Conclusion: Miles Frazier possesses an intimidating frame. One in which is ready for the NFL game right away. He has history of positional versatility and will likely be able to play anywhere but center. If he does not start right away, he could be thought of as a replacement for any of the 4 positions in case of injury.
